CANDLE CARE

For optimum burn time and fragrance throw, please follow this candle care guide

Soy wax has a memory. To avoid tunneling, always allow the wax pool to reach all the edges of the jar; a full melt pool. This is usually a minimum of two to three hours.

NEVER BURN LONGER THAN 4 HOURS.

Before each burn, trim wick down to approx. 1/4inch. This will ensure an even burn and will avoid mushrooming, smoking, soot and overheating.

Never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep away from drafts or anything flammable. Never leave children or pets unattended near lit candle. Burn candle on a heat resistant surface as the jar can get very hot.

Always ensure your wick is centered when burning. Sometimes if a candle has been burning too long the wick can drift to the side. Please center the wick once extinguished and allow to set. If the wick is too close to a side, the jar can become too hot and break.

Always leave approx. 1cm in the bottom of the jar to avoid overheating and exploding.

CANDLE FACTS

Our candles are made with soy wax. We choose not to add additives or chemicals to remain at 100% soy. Because of this, some candles can have a lumpy reset after burning. This has no impact on the candle safety or fragrance whatsoever.

Soy candles take approximately 2 hours to get the full strength of the fragrance. Some scents are more subtle than others.

Soy wax gets stronger with time. Its recommended to let newly made candles “cure” for 2 weeks before the first burn to ensure a stronger scent.

MELTS CARE

Our melts are a soy/paraffin blend.

Melts look delicious, but are NOT edible. Please do not leave unattended around children, husbands and pets.

Make sure melted wax is no lesser than 1cm. Less wax will result in instant fragrance burn off, and can become a fire hazard.

Do not leave burner unattended. Burner can get quite warm while burning, and the wax extremely hot, please use with caution. Avoid moving burner while wax is in liquid state. Allow to cool before disposing.

Discontinue use when less than 1cm of wax remains or wax no longer produces a scent.

Please be sure to properly dispose of cold wax. Do not pour down drains or in toilet.

BOTTLES/CUPS/TUMBLERS

Please only gently hand wash all bottles, cups, tumblers, etc. No scrubbing or abrasive materials. Warm or cold water only.

DO NOT SOAK IN WATER!

Not dishwasher or microwave safe.

These items are hand made, please handle with care.

EXTRA CARE FOR SNOWGLOBE AND LAVA LAMP BOTTLES - Soaking in water can result in the bottle becoming unsealed and can cause the insides to leak out and potentially cause stains. Please be gentle.

Store upside down. True to real snow globes and lava lamps, the glitter and lava will settle at the bottom of the cup. Give a good shake before use.

EARRINGS

Our earrings are all handmade therefore they're fragile and may break if dropped. Please handle with care.

Keep in a clean, dry environment.

Avoid contact with hairspray, perfume and moisturisers.

Don’t wear in the shower or swimming.

Keep separate to avoid getting scratched.

CLOTHING

Machine wash with cold water recommended. Turn garment inside out before washing. No bleach or strong cleaners. Do not iron over decals. DO NOT USE IN DRYER.
